“Yoga Nidra Guided Meditation” is by far the most effective means of training and programming your own mind. During each practice you will be asked to establish a short mental resolution about what you want to manifest in any area of your life.
The resolution formulated during the practice of Yoga Nidra is like planting a “powerful seed” in your subconscious mind. In order to be most effective, this determination should be enunciated when the mind is receptive in states of profound relaxation.
The practice of Yoga Nidra will take you to deep states of calmness and tranquility where you’ll feel your body asleep and your mind awake. With constant practice of Yoga Nidra you will have access to your subconscious mind, where you’ll be able to break through self-limiting beliefs and achieve the transformation that you wish for yourself and for your life.

SANKALPA OR RESOLUTION
The Sankalpa is an affirmative resolution that is repeated mentally three times at the beginning and the end of Yoga Nidra. It has to be a short and positive phrase, that you have to repeat mentally, feel it, and visualize it.
This resolution when we repeated in a state of relaxation, will be an internal command that the conscious mind gives to the subconscious mind when it is in a very receptive state.
The resolution stated in the practice of Yoga Nidra, is like a seed planted in the depths of your subconscious mind, and which it will manifests itself at the conscious level, contributing changes in personality and life.
For example, if you have insomnia and want to use it to sleep, a Sankalpa would be:
“I sleep perfectly”, or “I have a very restorative sleep”
and you also accompany this resolution with images in which you see sleeping soundly, you are influencing your behavior pattern, and so you can achieve change.
Please make sure to avoid Sankalpas with negative phrases. Therefore, don’t say:“I no longer have insomnia”, because it would influencing you by this negativity, and would create a vicious cycle.
It is important to be clear about Sankalpa before starting the practice, since if it is not available, it will be difficult to formulate it at the time it is requested, when the mind is already in the state of Nidra. It is important to always repeat the same Sankalpa until it has manifested in your life. The true purpose of Sankalpa, is to influence and transform the whole pattern of life so that it influences us on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. Formulate a Sankalpa that influences you in all your nature, and that it will help you to awaken your true potential, so that all other aspects of your life will also be transformed.
