by Veronica Vidal
I am extremely fortunate to have been born to a "Yogi Mother". From my mother, at home in Argentina, as a child, I learned yoga philosophy, asanas, breathing, diet and the whole of yoga as a way of life.
Although my profession as an industrial chemist was very successful, God pulled me away frorm it to put me on this path, to share what I love the most, and what I have been learning from so many great teachers from all over the world.
I am blessed to be have been certified and personally guided for over twenty years by Swami Brahmavidyananda Saraswati from India. With him in my early twenties, I traveled through Central America and Florida giving yoga demonstrations on television, universities and yoga conventions.I traveled to India to study at the Bihar School of Yoga, founded by Swami Satyananda. I have been trained and certified by Sri Dharma Mittra, David Swenson, Ana Forrest, and Rod Stryker . I have taken innumerable workshops with David Life and Sharon Gannon (Jivamukti),Tias Little, Desikachar, Jon Kabat-Zinn and many others.
While living in Puerto Rico, I designed and successfully implemented a pilot yoga program for the mental health department of the high security women's jail in Vega Alta.
Further, for many years I assisted Jean-Jacques Mayol, son of the legendary apnea diver Jacques Mayol, with teaching yoga techniques and pranayama to apnea divers in Japan, the Bahamas and the United States.

What I love the most is the application of yoga to everyone's needs. I work with cancer patients and HIV/AIDS patients assisting them with yoga techniques that alleviate pain and boost their immune system. I work with pregnant women using techniques that help make pregnancy a healthy and joyful experience.
I work with people suffering from addictions giving them tools to free themselves from the chains of their compulsions. I work with athletes to enhance their performance, focus and endurance as well as to prevent injuries. Further, I work with the physically challenged and handicapped people. I work with children to build self-esteem, develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and relaxation. I work with the elderly to help them recover joint mobility, develop balance and strength, regain energy and restore good sleeping habits. I work with people suffering from hypertension and strokes. I work with executives, assisting them with stress management.
In all of these efforts, I like to work with the chakras (the energetic system) using Kundalini yoga. The list of yoga applications goes on and on......yoga has no limitations.I am fortunate to have the trust of my students and to offer them Teacher Training Courses since the year 2000. As a result of that, there is a wonderful group of people teaching my methods in many parts of the world. With the help of my students, we organize Yoga Retreats and Workshops.
As years pass by, my passion for yoga grows. I feel blessed.
Namaste, Veronica
